Class 1: Unlocking Your Inner Wisdom -April 14, 7-8:30 pm

This class is designed for those of you craving to unlock and magnify your inner wisdom.

Within each of us is a powerful knowing that needs no outside affirmation. It remains hidden, just beyond your grasp, often with only brief moments of awareness that it even exists.

In this class we will create a space for you to gain access to that wisdom and offer tools that you may continue to use on your own to further develop a relationship with this part of your inner self.

Bring your curiosity and openness, no matter where you are on your journey of self-awareness, you are bound to discover something new.

Class 2: Radical Openness- April 28, 7-8:30 pm

This class is focused on reversing the effects of a very busy life. Have you noticed that when things get really frantic it becomes harder to know what you need for support? When stress and overwhelm rule your life, survival mode kicks in and the resulting shut-down tends to block receptiveness to love and support.

We will ignite your heart space to allow for source healing to permeate and recharge your soul being. This loving energy will flow into hidden places that you didn’t even realize needed to be healed.

Be cradled in the loving arms of source energy and learn how to access it in your daily life so overwhelm never has to rule your emotions again.

This class takes you on a journey to find your inner love and bring it forth to your consciousness. If you find it challenging to consistently speak to yourself with loving kindness, this class is for you!

Everything is harder when you close yourself off from love and light- and this often happens unintentionally. Blocking love and support from those around you can create difficulty and chaos, even while it can feel like self-preservation.

It’s time to offer yourself grace and see yourself through the eyes of the Divine, discover your worthiness and let Source flow through.

Class 4: Living the Life of a Queen- May 26, 7-8:30 pm

This class will show you how to take your rightful throne as the queen of your life.

Society and culture have long taught us that women have a place- and it’s not yet at the top of the current hierarchy. It takes conscious awareness and effort to act against expectations. Finding your footing at the top becomes immeasurably easier with other strong women doing the same.

In this pinnacle of the previous classes, you will uncover how to live your life with power, beauty and grace every day, no matter what is happening around you.

It’s time to stop dimming your brilliance, or hiding it altogether to make others more comfortable. Learn to recognize when you are giving your power away or stepping away from your true nature.

Class 5: Conquering Your Deep Fears- June 9, 7-8:30 pm

Even the most successful people have deeply hidden fears they need to battle. This class is for you if you are ready to level up, but seem to hit roadblocks at every turn and either don’t know what’s holding you back, or know but don’t know what to do about it.

Now that you’ve risen to the top, discover how to let Source Energy disintegrate those fears right in front of you eyes, and continue to work within to heal the parts of you that generated those fears.

We use a variety of energy healing modalities to address pain, stress, emotional issues, anxiety, fear, etc. so you can bring your best self to your daily interactions.

Self-care is like upkeep for your car. You put gas in the tank when it’s low, keep the windows clean and perform regular maintenance so you get many safe miles from it. Your daily self-love routines are similar to adding gas and washing the windows, but you would benefit greatly from having a professional handle the maintenance!

Overwhelm and Anxiety

Feeling overwhelmed and anxious is a pretty common complaint these days. Even a short time out in public spaces or listening to the news can be quite distressing.

Here is a process of focusing your awareness that you can do in just a few minutes nearly anywhere except driving.

1. Focus your attention on one body part at a time and really feel the surfaces that are touching you- clothing, seat, floor.

2. Notice the temperature of the air on your exposed skin, sense the darkness or light with your eyes closed.

3. Now expand your awareness to your energy that is outside the confines of your body- your aura. Feel how large it is and what it passes through or comes to rest against.

4. Now enjoy feeling yourself taking up all of this space, both physically and energetically. Stamp your feet and revel in your own solidity.

5. Take a few deep, slow breaths with your hands on your hips and your feet spread wide as you become accustomed to this expanded way of being.

From this place of confidence and self-awareness you can let love and compassion for others flow effortlessly out of you and towards everyone around you, without judgement or restriction. Practicing self-love and self-care in this way makes you more capable of helping others. It also makes you less likely to feel overwhelmed and more in control of your own emotions.

This is not intended to dismiss or minimize the issues of anyone dealing with panic attacks, depression, or severe anxiety disorder. It is aimed at those who are looking for a new tool to deal with situational anxiety.

It is also a terrific way of realizing your power to effect change in the world by sending out love. This is an active endeavor that can decrease your sense of helplessness with all that is going on around the globe.

26 Ways to be Safe As An Empath

26 Ways to Keep Your Peace as an Empath

I know the title is “…Ways to Stay Safe…”, but right from the start, we’d like to reframe that and say that you are ALWAYS safe. Being peaceful, comfortable, and content is really what we’re talking about here.

As an empath, the biggest challenge may be staying emotionally peaceful while still being an active participant in the world. Closing yourself off from everyone and everything that might make you feel is just not a very functional or fun option! Instead you need to find ways to comfortably be with your family & friends, go to work and navigate public spaces like grocery stores, restaurants and theaters.

You are only able to do this gracefully on a daily basis when you take time to stay grounded, re-fuel yourself with good self-care, and fully accept yourself (warts and all). Here are 26 tips on how to cope with the sense of “overwhelm” and take care of yourself so that you can be the best empathic you that you can be!

  1. Take a bath or shower. Place clearing or grounding crystals in with you for an extra boost of emotional cleansing.
  2. Take deep breaths. Visualize pulling power up from the earth as a bonus.
  3. Practice Yoga
  4. Carry a grounding crystal on you, it may be especially helpful to touch it or move it in your fingers to help you shift your energy.
  5. Burn sage or other incense.
  6. Acknowledge that the emotion is coming from outside of you.
  7. Pray- to Whomever you choose for support for you as well as for those who are suffering.
  8. Send positive, healing energy to whomever needs it.
  9. Use your sense of humor- laughter can elevate any energy!
  10. Remind yourself that you are not the cause, you cannot control it and you cannot cure it.
  11. Remove yourself from those sending out strong and uncomfortable emotions.
  12. Avoid being in close proximity to those you sense will overwhelm you with their feelings.
  13. Write down the feelings that don’t belong to you and shred them, releasing them from your energy at the same time. You could also tear the paper or burn it.
  14. Using a blow dryer or hand dryer, imagine it blowing the extra emotions away from you.
  15. Get outside. Make contact skin to ground or a tree. Release any emotions that aren’t yours to Mother Earth to be transformed.
  16. Recite or sing a mantra to change your energy and release what’s not yours.
  17.  Exercise. This is very grounding as well as mind-clearing.
  18. Meditate.
  19. Get regular massage, Reiki or other energy work to keep you balanced and clear.
  20. Make sure to include regular time alone and quiet in your schedule.
  21. Make time to be creative.
  22. Feed yourself well.
  23. Get enough sleep.
  24. Go to the water- large bodies of water are very rejuvenating.
  25. Begin your day by placing your feet on the ground very purposefully with the image of sending your roots deep into the ground. This is a very quick and easy way to start off well-grounded.
  26. Reach out for support wherever you can find it.

Affirmations

An affirmation is a word or words that will bolster your confidence, solidify your resolve and encourage you to take the next step no matter how daunting. something to keep you moving forward.

Here’s a perfect example: once our 7 year old neighbor was dropped off by the school bus and no one was home to meet him. He came to our door and we could hear him repeating to himself “Be brave, just be brave” until he knocked on our door to ask for help. Now I’m fairly certain no one coached him to do that, he just knew that he needed support and to get that he needed to overcome his shyness. Giving himself a dose of a confidence-boosting affirmation was just the ticket. He was only out there a few moments before he knocked.

Affirmations are a way to use our conscious mind to alter the deep-seated beliefs and behaviors. This can be a part of your daily self-care and a gentle way to show yourself love. The ones that work the best are those that target the real issue that is slowing you down. I believe it is more effective to focus on just a few (one to three max). It is critical to choose affirmations that are stated in the present and in the positive voice i.e. “I am fearless.”

Do something with me, try these phrases on for size by saying them out loud: I am enough; I am strong; I am worthy; I am accomplished; I am beautiful; I am lovable; I am powerful; I trust my instincts; I embrace change; I welcome challenges; I am capable; I love myself; I am successful. The one or ones that are the most difficult for you to say with truth and conviction may be where you want to begin your daily affirmation ritual.  

Say it out loud at least a few times per day. Affirmations aren’t going to change how you feel immediately but rather over time- you say it and think it with your conscious mind until your subconscious aligns. Soon you begin making decisions and taking actions as if it were true until your words, actions and feelings about that affirmation all line up!

Many of us have heard this phrase, but how often do we actually listen? In today’s world of “there is so much to do” how many of you actually take the time to sink down into your own body, into your own consciousness, and just listen? I bet it’s been a long time huh?  How many practitioners out there rave about meditation and connection and source and unplugging and yet run around in their day-to-day without taking a minute to feed their own soul or remember their own connections? Sometimes it’s difficult to practice what you preach.
Today I have a call to action for those of you who are looking to put yourself first, for those of you who are looking to recharge.  I’m putting together a challenge.  This challenge consists of taking one minute to yourself every single day, a single minute.  Yes, simply one.  Sometimes it’s hard to kick old habits [giving, giving, giving and never replenishing].  😉 The challenge is to take a minute for yourself every single day and then share in this community what exactly it is that you did for yourself.  Did you sit with your eyes closed and your heart open? Did you simply listen to your favorite song? Did you hit pause? What did you do to refocus and re-center just for a single minute.  Do we want you to take more time for yourself overall? Absolutely! But for now, let’s just try this. Give me a minute, and I’ll give you the charge that you’re looking for.

As healers, much of your focus is on the outside, on the rest of the community, and you neglect yourself.  Today, I ask that you reclaim your own body and your own power and dedicate true self love for simply a minute.  Every minute will look different, but I promise you, at the end of 30 days (yes, 30), you will find more self-love than ever before AND you won’t feel guilty for taking a 30 minute “escape.”  Put away the guilt and start replenishing the soul.  It all starts with baby steps.  We will have a 30 minute celebration at the Center at the end of the month.  I look forward to seeing you all there!   11. Remove yourself from those sending out strong and uncomfortable emotions.
  12. Avoid being in close proximity to those you sense will overwhelm you with their feelings.
  13. Write down the feelings that don’t belong to you and shred them, releasing them from your energy at the same time. You could also tear the paper or burn it.
  14. Using a blow dryer or hand dryer, imagine it blowing the extra emotions away from you.
  15. Get outside. Make contact skin to ground or a tree. Release any emotions that aren’t yours to Mother Earth to be transformed.
  16. Recite or sing a mantra to change your energy and release what’s not yours.
  17.  Exercise. This is very grounding as well as mind-clearing.
  18. Meditate.
  19. Get regular massage, Reiki or other energy work to keep you balanced and clear.
  20. Make sure to include regular time alone and quiet in your schedule.
  21. Make time to be creative.
  22. Feed yourself well.
  23. Get enough sleep.
  24. Go to the water- large bodies of water are very rejuvenating.
  25. Begin your day by placing your feet on the ground very purposefully with the image of sending your roots deep into the ground. This is a very quick and easy way to start off well-grounded.
  26. Reach out for support wherever you can find it.

Affirmations

An affirmation is a word or words that will bolster your confidence, solidify your resolve and encourage you to take the next step no matter how daunting. something to keep you moving forward.

Here’s a perfect example: once our 7 year old neighbor was dropped off by the school bus and no one was home to meet him. He came to our door and we could hear him repeating to himself “Be brave, just be brave” until he knocked on our door to ask for help. Now I’m fairly certain no one coached him to do that, he just knew that he needed support and to get that he needed to overcome his shyness. Giving himself a dose of a confidence-boosting affirmation was just the ticket. He was only out there a few moments before he knocked.

Affirmations are a way to use our conscious mind to alter the deep-seated beliefs and behaviors. This can be a part of your daily self-care and a gentle way to show yourself love. The ones that work the best are those that target the real issue that is slowing you down. I believe it is more effective to focus on just a few (one to three max). It is critical to choose affirmations that are stated in the present and in the positive voice i.e. “I am fearless.”

Do something with me, try these phrases on for size by saying them out loud: I am enough; I am strong; I am worthy; I am accomplished; I am beautiful; I am lovable; I am powerful; I trust my instincts; I embrace change; I welcome challenges; I am capable; I love myself; I am successful. The one or ones that are the most difficult for you to say with truth and conviction may be where you want to begin your daily affirmation ritual.  

Say it out loud at least a few times per day. Affirmations aren’t going to change how you feel immediately but rather over time- you say it and think it with your conscious mind until your subconscious aligns. Soon you begin making decisions and taking actions as if it were true until your words, actions and feelings about that affirmation all line up!

Many of us have heard this phrase, but how often do we actually listen? In today’s world of “there is so much to do” how many of you actually take the time to sink down into your own body, into your own consciousness, and just listen? I bet it’s been a long time huh?  How many practitioners out there rave about meditation and connection and source and unplugging and yet run around in their day-to-day without taking a minute to feed their own soul or remember their own connections? Sometimes it’s difficult to practice what you preach.
Today I have a call to action for those of you who are looking to put yourself first, for those of you who are looking to recharge.  I’m putting together a challenge.  This challenge consists of taking one minute to yourself every single day, a single minute.  Yes, simply one.  Sometimes it’s hard to kick old habits [giving, giving, giving and never replenishing].  😉 The challenge is to take a minute for yourself every single day and then share in this community what exactly it is that you did for yourself.  Did you sit with your eyes closed and your heart open? Did you simply listen to your favorite song? Did you hit pause? What did you do to refocus and re-center just for a single minute.  Do we want you to take more time for yourself overall? Absolutely! But for now, let’s just try this. Give me a minute, and I’ll give you the charge that you’re looking for.

As healers, much of your focus is on the outside, on the rest of the community, and you neglect yourself.  Today, I ask that you reclaim your own body and your own power and dedicate true self love for simply a minute.  Every minute will look different, but I promise you, at the end of 30 days (yes, 30), you will find more self-love than ever before AND you won’t feel guilty for taking a 30 minute “escape.”  Put away the guilt and start replenishing the soul.  It all starts with baby steps.  We will have a 30 minute celebration at the Center at the end of the month.  I look forward to seeing you all there!
